Isi artikelMedian lines is fixed on the basis of linear regession equation. The result of cloud coverage analysis in Indonesia August 1998 showed that there was significant cloud decrease about 10% in Central Java, East Java, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara. Indicating that these areas entered the dry season. In November and December 1998 the cloud coverage increased most parts of Indonesia so that these areas entered the rainy season. ITCZ position in May to September 1998moved to the north and reached the longest dustance from the equator in that mont. ITCZ position in November 1998 moved to the south closer to the equator and in April 1999 this position passed to the southern part of the equator, while in the same period SPCZ was located in Irian Jaya.
