The monetary crisis in Indonesia has caused many recent disputes between worker and employer. There are several ways to settle labor disputes, i.e negotiasion, concilliation, voluntary arbitration, local or central commission for settlement of labor disputes (P4D / P4P), and adjudication. Some prefer to settle disputes by P4D / P4P compare t other ways. The reaseons for their choice are : 1) P4D / P4P is a more prompt process , 2) it is more efficient and 3) it does not need much expense.
