In 1997, besides internal weaknesses the monetary crisis in Indonesia cannot be separated from intervention of super power countries that do not want Indonesia to become a powerful country. In a similar crisi, Iraq as a close friend of Indonesia, ever since 191 has undergone oil and air embarg, which is also an effort of super power countries to prevent Iraq becoming a poerful country in the Middle East. Therefore, it is obvious that the people of Indonesia could learn from the heroic experience of the Iraqi people in handling crisis.
