Load flow study in a power system is the maintenance of steady state of power system network. The main information obtained from this study consisted of : 1) the magnitude and phase angles of load bus voltage reactive power at generator buses, 2) real and reactive power flow on transmission lines and 3) other specified variables. This information is essensia for the continuous monitoring of current state of system and the analyzing of the effectiveness of plants for future system expansion to meet increased load demands.
