The down grade of the oil performance on 4 stroke motor cycles engine was studied on the road test as an "ojek" at Purwakarta, West of Java. The quality of the oil in the new condition, after 2000 km, 3500 km and 5000 km was tested using ASTM standard It was found that after 2000 km, the sodium contains, lead contains and silicone contains have been reached the above of allowable value. The possible coused of that condition was the dust water vapour from the environtment and the gosoline that was not burned flew in to the engine compartement.
