Democracy is a political theoretical concept underlying the national and societal system. The essence of democracy is consensus, social contract and distribution of authority between the government and pollitical opposition. In other words, democracy demands contract and consensus between the government and its citizens. The birth of political theories such as social contract by Rousseasu, liberal Democracy emphasizing life, liberty and property by Hock, Trias Politica by Montesque, pancasila Democracy are efforts to make society peaceful and secure. Indonesia a republic based on Pancasila Democracy in line with the 1945 National Constitution and Guide-lines.
