Efforts to increase physical fitness can only be pursued throught systematic and regular physical activities. One of those efforts is physical education at school that corresponds to each level of education. Implementation of physical education applied simple but interesting exercise for the blind has double advantages. Those advantages are improvement of physical fitness components needed by the blind, i.e : flexibilty, balance, coordination, strength, and cardiorespiratory endurance, as well as improvement in their mental and social aspects hollistically. Physical education teachers with high motivation and creativity may provide support for optimalization of pysical fitness of the blind, so that they will fulfill their self-actualization needs.
