User satisfaction is generally regarded as one of the most important measures of information system success. The advances in new technology and the drastic growth of intenet usage have considerably changed the end-user computing environment. Therefore, it is appropriate to revie the measures of user satisfaction with information system technology, especially an instrument of end user computing satisfaction in computer based infromation system. Li Xiao and Dasgupta (2202) tested it for user satisfactionin web-based environment in internet portals. In conenction with such an instrument, this research has an objective of developing and validating an instrument for measuring user satisfaction in web-based environment. Another objective is to retest the instrument of End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) on the user of internet portals and student "behavior in using information from the internet. It is found out that some changes on EUCS exist. However, this instrument is, in fact considered to have remained valid for measuring user satisfaction in web based information system.
