The management of solid waste is 5 (five) systems, i.e : 1. open dumping 2. sanitary landfill 3. compesting 4. incineration 5. recycling This paper discusses about the management of Solid Waste at Bantar gebang, bekasi in West Java, which was operated by the Local Government of DKI, Jakarta with a Sanitary Landfill System. Sanitary Landfill System is one of the suitable system to manage the Solid Waste such as in the Metropolitan City of Jakarta that produces a lot of Solid Waste. Finally the Sanitary Landfill at Bantar gebanf will be shut and then it's land to build the Bus Terminal.
