Although people around Pedada Bay believe that seawaeeds ware sources of proteion, vitamin and could make their body healthy, but they didn't consume seaweeds regularly as their daily diets. They tradisionally ate seaweeds only on special occasions, such as family picnic on the beach which was hels 2 - 3 days before fasting months and as a serving of food during celebrations, Some ear them raw lalab, and ithers servied as dissert, i.e : agar-agar.
