The leather puppet show had a great role in disseminating Islam and Hindu in Java. The King of Java used the leather puppet show to popularize Hindu because it had its roots in Javanese culture. It is also similar to the distribution of Islamic faith, they used the puppet show because it had a foothold on Javanese people personality. By using the leather puppet show the development of Islam and Hindu was well distributed in Java.
