Starting from the acknowledge of the "crisis" of the theology of liberation, the author focuses first in the mediations and elements of the theology of liberation (socio-analytical, type of reasoning, imaginario, subjects, praxical mediation) and points out what a change of paradigm could mean, The second part of the problem deals with the perspective of systematic theology, interpreting the concept of paradigm as reading of christianity (doctorinal-theoritical, moralist, ontological, metaphysical readings...). The author asserts that the essential elements of the central paradigm of the theology of liberation are : a. historical eschatological reading of Christianity, the reign-focud and the option for justice, he says these are valid elements, and changes should only focus on smaller paradigms.
