In the reformation era, conflicts of opinion among individuals or interest group are common. In a political perspektive, conflicts of interest or opinion are human in nature. Conflicts bring people to discuss or negotiate issues to reach consensus. In the political communication process, political elite as communicator in certain conditions has great influence on the public. The majority of people receive information on presidential candidates from the mass media. Other factors, which affect public opinion, are groups and internal factors of the audience. A number of theories have explained the effect of mass media o people's opinion and perception on certain issues. For instance the Spiral of Silence and Dependency Theory.
