Archives has its own place in the jugle of human life, It provides important information to guide in the management of activities. however, creation of archives should also be followed by good control of archival volume, or else there will be an abundance of useless records that are only effective in a short period of time. In anticipation of losing archival information, an archival volume by using an archival retention schedule. This schedule will determine archival transfer and disposal. Controlling archival volume has to be supported by archiparist capability in using precise filling procedure and determining retention schedule.
