The basic concept of paten is to recognize, protect, and promote application of invention, which should be based on promotion, recognition,and protection in the case of Indonesia due to tradition and custom of invention practiced in the community. This custom has to be encouraged in the community. The problem in Indonesia is how the law of patent becomes a tool of transfer in technology especially in the field aerospace technology.
