The purpose of this study is to define Competitive Business Strategy concept as one of contemporary bussiness tools in order to nhance cooperative performance in Indonesia. Entering globalization, cooperation is in charge of proffesionalism to reach organization purpose through the concept relevant to policies based on modern principles and familial policies. According to global studies, one relevant concept used to increase organizational activity is by using Balanced Scorecard approach. The formula of the Strategic Management System using the BS approach is Strategic Formulation, Strategic Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Implementation and Monitoring. From previous studies in more than 200 companies in the US using BS approach, proved to increase their performance. It is through BS assimilation concept with familial policies in Indonesia that is based on culture and social dimension may produce a proportional role of cooperatives in modern bussiness.
