Self-confidence is a positive attitude towards problems faced by an individual. Self-confidence for junior high school students is necessary to be internalized as dsoon as possible to increase personal achievement. A student with a healty attitude will be happu and satisfied in their learning process. Basically, there are two factors influencing lack of self-confidence in learning mathematics namely : 1) internal factors, and 2) external factors. By knowing these factors in a student, the teacher will internalize self-confidence in the student by usind various methods enabling the students to become an active learning and guide them in the learning process.
