It is fully realized that handling of take and river problems to maintain its role and function and also its contribution to tourism development is not an easy task. Landsat TIM and GIS can assist in solving lake and river problems specially tourism development in east Kalimantan, Inter sector cooperation is also required to solve this problem between the Office of the State Minister for the Environment, Directorate General of District Development, regional Government, Indonesian Wildlife Fund, and Mangrove Institutions, besides the Directorate General of a Tourism.
