Space technology has grown rapidly and to guarantee its application for peacefull purposes, the United Nations has urged countries to ratify the international space treaties such as 1967 Outer Space Treaty, 1972 Liability Convention, 1975 Registration Convention, 1968 Rescue Agreement. Furthermore, it is hoped that every country have their own national space legislation, in order to protect their national interest and as their national interest and as their obligation to the international space treaties. Currently, indonesia space legislation is being prepared. Thus, knowledge on how countries arrange their national legislations and what the contents are of this essential legislation will provide direction in predicting problems in the application of space technology in the future, especially with respect to both its technical and legal aspects.
