This writing is a study as settlement pattern and system in many kinds of plaxes in indonesia with are studied archeologically and architecturally. The examples in this study are concerned with many kinds of settlement having different backgrounds namely the ones based on the sameness of groups and trides as well as beliefs and technological system of earning money. This study is needed so as to make us, in constructing settlement complex, be very much attention to, not only economic factors but also local wisdom on each site so that the dwellers to do will not fill strange in their own home.
