The most attractive benefit of investment instock is its capital gain. Capital gain is the difference between the (higher) sales price compared to the (lower) purchase price. In doing investment, we cannot neglect the possibility of risk and to avoid risk in investment we need an investment strategy to avoid or at least minimize the risk. This paper, will discuss the strategy in doing investment and the capital market in Indonesia which is dealing with the economic critis, and certain factors influensing the capital market in Indonesia.
