Isi artikel
Adolescence is a period of life in which changes of all kinds flood the developing individual. The adolescent body undergoes massive transformations, for instance, at the hormonal and the phenotypical levels. The adolescent mind experiences major growth as adolescents move to become abstract thinkes. Socially adolescents take their first steps into the adult world that is fraught with attractions and dangers. Family bonds decrease in importance, and many adolescents have a hard time waiting until they are let loose to college where they expect to be able to let it all hang out. This journal has done a magnificient job at presenting research that covers all aspects of adolescent development. Readig submitted articles for review and reading the accepted and printed articles makes it clear, however, that research in the area of adolescent and any other area of development faces unique challenges. These challenges reside in the theoretical as well as int he methodological domains. This two part special issue covers both theoretical and methodological / statistical issues in 10 articles.
