Isi artikelWe consider an M(H) / G / 1 queueing system where packets arrive in batches according to poisson process at rate (l). A batch consists of a random number of packets H, having a geometric distribution with a parameter p. For various values of p and distribution of service time, we will determine the mean waiting time of an arbitrary packet as a performance measure for this model.
