Nowadays, ERG is still in development. ERG is more difficult to understand thand ECG (electrocardiogram), a clinical method used to monitor the hearth through its electrical activities. In htis review, the basic physiology of the eye is expalined to understand the components of ERG waveform. A model to explain electrical activities, which is recorded by ERG, due to light stimulus into the eye is described.
