Therefore system parameter adjustment is required to obtain optimal results. In this research genetic algorithm is used for tuning membership funciton parameters of input variable in a fuzzy controlled system that has been used in previous research as a part of an intelligent tutoring sytem. The goal of our research is to determine membership function parameters in order to obtain optimal results.
