Isi artikelImage filtering can be performed by using two-dimensional Finite Impulse Response (FIR 20) filter in the time domain or frequency domain. In the time domain, it can be done directly by using convolution, whereas in the frequency domain indirectly by using two-dimensional Fast Fourier Transform (FFT 20). Based on the separable property of Fourier Transform, 20 transformations can be realized by means of a succession of 1D transformations along each of the dimension axes. In this research we prove that image filtering can be performed using FiR 20 filter based on FFT ID, by means of a successIon of row and column processings.
