Isi artikelThe problem of conduction heat transfer, under unsteady state, and two-dimensional conditions with no energy generation or no heat sources can be so Wed by using a finite difference method, such as Aitemating Direction Implicit (ADI) method. The ADI method is accurate and unconditionally stable. To overcome the weaknesses and inefficiency of other methods (the explicit and implicit finite difference equation), the ADI method uses a splitting technique which is popular for two -dimensional problems.
