A matrix A wth entries in a commutative ring R with unity is left good if, for every vextor x, the ideal generated by the entries in the vector x. In the context of matrices with integral entries, this is equivalent to rquiring that the greatest common divisor of the entries in xA is the same as the greatest common divisor that , the content of leftgoodness is in the reverse containment.
