Isi artikel
This article discusses the solution to conduction heat transfer problem under steady state and two-dimensional conditions with no energy generation oor no heat sources. A convenient equation used in this case is the two-dimensional Laplace equation, which is known as the elliptic equation. Among the solution methods disscused in this paper, the Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI) method (with relaxation parameter), which requires the smallest number of iterations and has a much faster convergence rate compared to the other methods, is considered the best.
