Transaction information via electronic or on line system or e - commerce needs to have a proper legal protection from being accessed unlawfully by anyone or party. These kind of protections involve such aspects as so - called the CIANA3 viz. Confidentiality, integrity, authorization, non - repudiation, availability, authenticity and auditability. All of these asopects are described in the so - called cryptographic systems or cryptosystem consisted of two systems : symmetric cryptosystem or secret key cryptosystem and asymmetric cryptosystem or public key crryptosystem. A breakthrough for document authorization in the electronic transaction system is called digital signature. The RSA algorithm has been extensively ised to implement the digital signature in the aim at identification of electronic document. The implementation of these security systems in indonesia, however, has to wait the released of a new law as so - called cyber - law or law of internet.
