Isi artikel
When setting up self-access facilities, it is important to concentrate not only on hardware and materials, but also on procedures: how will the facilities be used? In this paper, we argue that more attention should be paid to how self-access facilities are used and we suggest that the following areas are particularly important: Accessibility and relevance of materials; Learner training and learning strategies; Alternative uses of self-access facilities.
