Isi artikel
This article describes a teacher development activity in two different teacher training contexts. The first of these was part of a 'cascade' project teacher development for South African teacher the second was for multinational group on a TEFL Diploma course. It is argued that two aspects of the activity-the fact that it allows trainees to provide their own 'content', and can be easily adapted and used in a wide range of teaching situations-exemplify important principles in the emerging model trainee-centred teacher development. It is suggested that these principles might be useful in evaluating and designing teacher development activities on future training courses.
