Isi artikelThe effect of the presence of married students on their unmarried high-school classmates was explored through the administration of a questionnaire at high schools which permitted and which did not permit married students. No significant differences regarding attitudes about dating and marriage were found between students in these two types of high schools on most of the questions asked. The one finding which appeared to exist without extraneous bias was that students in schools which permitted married students were less likely to favor necking during the first few dates than were students at schools which prohibited married students.
