This paper is about Management Information System of an NGO (Non Government Organization) that serves in law advocat (XYZ firm). Development of law awareness in Indonesia need an improvement in law service and implementation of modern management in handling te cases. When this paper finished, the firm XYZ managed its information system manually. However, information division had a desire to design a computerized system in order to manage information flow when handling client's case. This paper contains the design of human resources information system as an effort to faciliate the management to distribute the tasks properly and planning of human resources (lawyers). Design of HRIS strated with design of system and procedure and continue with human resources database design. Finally, this paper should be treated as an effort to implement improved information system for non-profit organization and as a reference for further research regarding HRIS in service industry.
