The dialing tone of modern telephone uses frequency combination f1 and f2. All telephone set produced have standard frequencies. The a.m. table shows that each tone is formed by 2 frequencies for example the tone 1 combined by f1 = 697 hz and f2 = 1209 Hz, while tone 2 consist of f1 = 697 Hz and f2 = 1336 Hz. Although the telephone sets have the same frequencies f2 and f1, but the tone and color voice of each telephone set are not equally, due to the voice component is unlimited. This paper introduces dialing tone system recognition of DTMF Telephone set using f2 and f1 identification. Based on artificial neural networks. From the simulation result the system can be implemented to telephone tone appliance. The dialing tone system recognition can be developed for system using frequency signal such as ATM machine.
