Isi artikelhe Pre-Teacher Assessment Project assesses a sophomore education major on thirteen skilldimensions important for teaching. Students have opportunities to exhibit these dimensions during four siniulaiion activities. Trained assessors conduct the simulaiions and evaluate these exercises. Follow-up modules are provided for students to remediate weak areas. The process is currently being validated. Pre- Teacher Assessment has the potential to benefit educa- tion majors, inservice teachers, and university faculty
