The research is aimed to describe the social communication pattern of smain society in sukolilo, pati. Also, this research is done to identify the influence of value and norm that they believe and also influence of the communication pattern of samin society. Another objective of this research is to know how non samin society understands the communication pattern being used by samin society. The conclusion of this research is that the communication pattern of samin society in sukolilo is greatly influenced bny javanese value and norm. Those valeus and norms influence their religion, adam religion. Religion and "embedded" life philosophy become their way of thinking. It also influences their communication pattern very much. Communication pattern in samin society in sukolilo is "wheel" pattern with some specific features as follows. Firstly, their communication pattern is greatly influenced by the symbols being used. Secondly, their communication is an oral one. Thirdly, there is a high democratic atmosphere among them, so that they feel fre to discuss or give opinion. Fourthly, they are free to communicate and have an itneraction with non samin society.
