In the competition era, reengineering is one of the ways which many managers choose to survive their company. Reengineering a company means tossing aside old systems and starting over. It involves going back to the beginning and inventing a better way of doing work. It means forgetting how work was done in the age of the mass market and deciding how it can best be done now. Moreover about reengineering will be discussed later in this article. The effect of reengineering and many cases of this will be illustrated. The faithfull in this process illustrate the point that the result companies achieve are often very different from the results that their managements desire.
