Isi artikelThis research examines the application of ajzen's theory of planned behaviour on the behaviour of rail transport consumers. The investigation was focused on the effects of attitudes (Ah), subjective norms (SN) and perceived behavioural control (PC) on behavioural intention (I) of argo lawu rail transport consumers travelling from yogyakarta to jakarta. Intentional influence was disregarded for some limitations. During the economic crisis, consumers especially air transport consumers, behave more rationally in their transport mode choice, and train became the major mode of alternative choice. The theory of planned behaviour has been successfully tested in the subjects' behavioural setting. Findings of the research indicated that consumers' attitude towards behaviour, subjective norms and perceived behavioural controls have a significant effect on their intention to use the service. Beta coefficient of perceived behavioural control variable has been majoring among the variables in the influence on behavioural intention variable.
