Indonesia needs investment funds of at least Rp. 660,1 trillion to maintain the projected economic growth of 6,2 percent per annum during the sixth five development plan (PELITA - VI) period. To achieve that economic growth target. 73% of the required investment funds is expected fromt he private sector, both domestic and foreign investors. The question that may arise : Is the target of the required investment fund reasonable to reach ? Based on the experienced of Pelita V, the target is likely achievable. There is confidence that the banking industry and the capital market will help achieve this. Recent financial deregulations will also support the acquiring of necessary instrument funds, especially for private sector investments.
