The information technology will slowly but surely deconstruct the ocmpany as we know it. The technology, that speed up the flow of information bring down transaction costs, which should induce companies to do less themselves and outsource more. So, information technology will transform the company and in effect will be creating a real time enterprise. And as first wire themselves up and connect to their business partners, they make the entire economy more and more real time, slowly but surely creating not so much a "new" but a "now" economy.
