Isi artikelMost of study in international joint venture (IJVs) accentuates on the control perspective. Recently, the perspective of learning that is introduced by resource based view paradigm is more and more applied. In t his paper, we intend to analyze IJV's in the perspective of learning. In indonesian context, this perspective is important because of the critical role of foreign investment. Conevrging with the privatization and divestment of some asset of banking sector as well as owned enterprises, the learning process of strategic alliance is more critical. The foreign investment is an unavoidable strategy, especially in this recovering period form economic and business crisis.
