Public has been tossed about with thundering too many comments from so many parties such as bankers, capital market observers, authority of central bank, authority of indonesia banking restructuring agency and parliament's politician. Actually how is the LIPPO bank case in the view of legal perspective ? The case is true a legal issue. Sutan Remy Sjahdeini as an expert of banking law examines this case from many angles of regulations prevailed to LIPPO bank like banking act, limited company act, capital market act, the removal corruption act, criminal code and civil code. If it is assumed that the LIPPO bank case is correct as what papers said, what the consequence of that will be put on the shoulder of management LIPPO bank ? What will authorized parties react to such as the central bank, the police, the prosecutor, the capital market control agency, the ministry of finance ? It is very clear to public that the commnity needs the case to be solved by the government transparently. The most expensive lesssor we can learn from the LIPPO bank case is that how complicated and messy are to enforce law supremacy within indonesia which is a constitutional country as though to make a wet thread stand erect especially when dealing to combat corruption, colusion and nepotism. All involving parties seem very busy to clean up themselves, whilst others such law enforcement agents as the police, the prosecutor seem to have no initiative. Then, to whom we address to complain about ? Ebiet, the singer, may right, we have to ask to the shaky grass !
