Alkaliphilic thermophilic micro organisms are micro organisms, which live in temperature above 50 celcius degree in the alkaline environment. In this research, we successfully isolate this kind of micro organism from tofu industry waste water, which lives in 50 celcius degree and pH 9. The isolate can produce alkaline thermostable proteases with the activity up to 20,040 units under pH 9 and aeration conditions.
