When the infection occur, they usually infect the organ system with high fluid content e.g. respiratory tract, urinary tract and the other body fluid. Treatment of A. anitratus infection will be complicated, because this microorganism is multi resistant and only senstive to relatively few antimicrobial drugs. In several countries A. anitratus causes hospital infection. Invention of A. anitratus infection in ambulatory patients treated in Atma Jaya Hospital, urge to investigate that the microorganism is capable of causing infection outside the hospital. Clinical specimens obtained from the patients who treated to Alma Jaya Hospital from August 10, 1999 as far as January 26, 2002. The results of laboratory investigations (morphological characteristics, biochemical characteristics and susceptibility tests) identified 77 (17,11 %) multiresistant A. anitratus out of 450 isolates consists of 28 species.
