Reality indicates that the farmers in indonesia generally lack capital and skills. Considering that indonesia is an agrarian state with most of its population subsisting on farming, the government in all its policies always try to increase the economical status of this community group. One of the policies taken on by the government is by granting credit with various facilities, for example kredit usaha tani (the farmer's business credit). In performing this credit, various kinds of constraints, difficult to be solved, are being faced, for example the informal credit, especially the ijon system, the insect attacks and natural disasters. It is these problems that the author discusses in this article.
