Rape is a form of broken law which belX1me studies of criminology and criminal law. This paper focuses upon problem to increasing of rape crime massalsive and efforts to surpassing its in Padang. To surpassing this crime is necessary to efforts of effective legal action such as pre-emptive, preventive and repressive of policing officials. But public participation is very significant within surpassing this crime.
