This report studied on the affixation as the one of processes of word formation, emphasize on the suffix phenomenon. The elected language as the object of these research is the Minangkabau language has used in the Nagari Rao Rao, district of Tanah Datar. These srudy has found two kind of suffix in this language, that is suffix-i and suffix-an.
