Bagan terapung (lift net) is one of the most commond fishing gear operated in Teluk Kabung Padang, West Sumatera. This equipment used the light of white lamp (tube luminescence) 1.0 attract fishes gathering around the net that. Set-up surrounding the fishing boat. Fishing boat operation was done at dark moon without depending on the season.
