Minangkabau society is not only shifted in terms of social structure, system of values, and self confidence, but also in terms of ideology, identity, and linguistic system. This research based Oil linguistic system in the "Pasambahan Text" of Minangkabau society residing in rural and urban area describes identity, values, ideology, social system, and cultural disintegrations of the Minangkabau society. This analysis refers to phenomenological qualitative by applying the theory of Holliday (1991; 1978) and Linda. Gemt and Peter Wignell (1994) in the analysis of Pasambahan texts of Minangkabau society residing in rural and urban area.
